Welcome to my “Things You Should Know If You Follow Me On Twitter” post! I’d just like to take the opportunity to say a few things here that are a little longer than 140 characters. So here goes:

1. First off, thanks for following me! I hope you enjoy the ride!
2. I don’t auto-follow. If you have something interesting or funny to say, I’ll probably follow you back. But..
3. I need to limit my internet (and thus Twitter) time, so I’m selective of the people I follow.
4. I’m flattered that you think I have something interesting to say. Thanks. Just keep in mind that I tweet for myself and not for others. So if I get boring, feel free to…
5. Unfollow me if you want to. I won’t get offended. See #3 – I respect that you might have the same issues.
6. I don’t automatically send an @ when you start following me. I think that’s spammy. But if you mention @kiaras in your tweets, rest assured, I’ll reply!
7. Oh, and in the words of @wilw “Don’t be a dick!”
