Recommended reading.
I’m not sure I’ve ever reviewed a book from this series before, but that’s not because I don’t love it. In fact, it’s probably in my top 3 favorite series of all time. Seanan McGuire’s mind is as methodical and bloody as something from a Saw movie (I assume… I’m too chicken to watch those)….

This novel is a meal of a mystery wrapped in a thriller with a heavy spice of Female Rage. … And if you’re a woman Of A Certain Age… being made to feel useless… Who hasn’t wanted to respond to all of that by murdering the shit out of the people who make you feel that way?
